Last year (for pretty much everyone) was a great year to rest and reflect. [Besides, what else can one do while there is a global pandemic forcing us all to stay inside and apart from each other?!] Luckily, the Lord had already been preparing me for this season. July 2020, I resigned from my full time role as Coordinator of Charis Worship School. Its easy to leave a job, but not so easy to leave a career! But the Lord has always led me with leaps of faith, and this was the biggest one yet! Leave and rest.
At the end of 2020, I felt my resting period was ending and something began stirring in my heart. The group Ive been providing instruction for based out of the UK, Creative Lab Academy, has been working with ministries in Africa. I have been thrilled to be a part of the team going to minister in Uganda and train/teach those eager to grow their skills/heart for worship. We are expanding into the US to begin a non-profit to provide means to raise money to support our musical missions across the globe. The goal is to train and disciple specifically those with a calling to worship leadership, so that they can train others in their sphere of influence.
God is giving us incredible connections, vision and resources to do just this. Its truly an exciting time! There's nothing more exciting than realizing you are stepping into what God has already provided for! We are just in the beginning stages of creation (my favorite part!) so I will keep you posted on the developments. But in the meantime feel free to check out our website: CreativeLabAcademy.com
